Native Texan, Jania did not begin her career as a sculptor. She always
considered herself an artist, studying at art institutes,
illustrating fashion designs, oil painting in Singapore and
sketching in Paris. But it wasn't until settling in Italy
in 1978, close to Pietrasanta, that she discovered marble and
the medium that has become a lifetime passion.
Jania's work is found in private collections in Singapore,
Paris, Mexico City, California, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C.,
Maryland and Texas
