Finis Collins is a member of the infamous Watercolor Gang from San Antonio, a close knit group of artists who travel the world together encouraging, and good-naturedly attempting to out paint, each other.  Recently Finis turned his attention to oils and has created very vibrant and dramatic depictions of local watercraft.  Unlike his light and fantastical watercolors, these paintings are deep and moody, splashed with intense color.
