Kyle Polzin, Show & Sale

Be at the gallery from 5 - 8 for a delightful evening with Kyle Polzin.  We will be offering a number of his original oil paintings along with signed, limited edition prints in this one man show.  His recent shows in Rockport and Dallas were sold out within the first day, so come see what this gifted painter is all about.  His work will be up for preview earlier in the week but no sales will be made prior to the show.

2008 Invitational Coastal Paint Out
October 23-25, 2008 

Invited artists will spend 3 days painting on the northern tip of Mustang Island in the lovely coastal town of Port Aransas, Texas.  Gulf and bay beaches, the charm of Old Town, sand dunes & freshwater ponds, and the historic Lydia Ann Lighthouse all offer inspiring venues for painting en plein air, and in plain view at locations all about town.

On Saturday morning, Oct 25, artists will congregate at the city harbor pavilion for a Quick Draw.  After two hours of painting artists will display their work and awards for artist’s choice and people’s choice will be given.

A show and sale of the work produced by attendees will be held at the gallery on Saturday evening.  As lagniappe, the Paint Out is held concurrently with the Port-A Fall ArtAbout, an annual open house of local galleries and artists’ studios that attracts hundreds of people.

Turtle Trail 2008 Preview Party
November 7, 2008 

Join us for a fun evening viewing the entire bale of turtles that will be up for auction the following night, November 8, at the Port Aransas Civic Center.  A number of our artists are participating in this wonderful fund raising venture so be sure to put in your bid for an original work by Kyle Polzin, Kathy Sayre, Debbie Stevens, Tiddle Caylor, Michael Earney or Steve Vaughn.

Turtle Trail 2008 will benefit the Port Aransas Animal Rehabilitation Keep , or more commonly known as The ARK. The ARK is well known for their tireless efforts to save injured sea turtles, seabirds and the occasional dolphin, as well as research for their well being.
